EARLY SYDNEY HISTORY!

Situated at the mouth of Botany Bay, Bare Island fort was built in 1885 to protect the back door of Sydney from sea attack. Cross the wooden bridge and enter a world of military pride, fine engineering, and great deception. La Perouse Museum is housed in the historic Cable Station building, and documents the travels of French explorer La Perouse, who landed at Botany Bay a week after the first fleet.

Lunch stop during the day at own expense.
