ARMIDALE AND THE NEW ENGLAND

Discover the beauty

Date: Sunday 19 to Saturday 25 May 2019

Discover the beauty that is the

New England region of NSW.

In Autumn the area is ablaze of red, orange and yellow. Maybe that’s why they call it New England! Starting around 1000 metres above sea level the high country is full of history and heritage as well as natural wonders. Enjoy guided tours of the towns of Armidale & Tenterfield, visit local museums and galleries, learn the history of Captain Thunderbolt & the Tenterfield Saddler, follow the famous Waterfall Way, drive through the elm tree-lined roads resembling the English countryside and inspect the National Trust Property Saumarez Homestead.

Staying at Colonial Motor Lodge Scone (2) and Deer Park Motor Inn Armidale (4 nights) during your tour, you will also take in visits to Glenbawn Dam, Pukara Olive Grove at Denman, Scone Thoroughbred Stud Tour, Big Golden Guitar Tamworth, Australian Standing Stones and sightseeing through the towns of Uralla, Guyra and Glen Innes.
